The New Phono Stage in Classic Landscape Style

Hi!

Earlier this year I showed my latest generation LCR phono stage which is based on an improved circuit which yields extremely low noise at exceptional sound quality.

The first implementation was done in the portrait style chassis using the ultra rare Telefunken EC8020. Later I build a version of the same concept using the more affordable and available D3a.

Now it is also available in the classic landscape style chassis. As the others with separate power supply unit:

This phono stage will be used in a system with a 10Y line stage and 6CB5A power amp, both in the same chassis style.

The arrangement of the parts on the top needed some adjustment to fit onto the landscape chassis.

Two D3a tubes share one sub plate with vibration damping.

All else remained exactly the same.

Best regards

Thomas
